Academy is open for international participants.
A basic understanding of science is required.

Participation fee
Science Underground Academy is complately non-profit educational program,
organized by non-profit organizations.
All the lecturers & organizers are volonteers.
Participation costs are covered with participation fee for each participants.
Participation fee covers all participation expanses (materials that will be used during the workshops for teaching and field trips expanses).
Total participation fee cost is:
(10 day academy program / 13. July – 22. July)
total 200 EUR for early birds (before 22.June 2016.)*, CLOSED
total 250 EUR for night owls (after 23. June 2016.)*

If You are coming with a friend, please apply together, to get a discount:
Groups of 2 or more participants, who send applications together, get a discount of 20% each.
Fee is payable by invoice, wire transfer or PayPal.
Participation fee does not include travel to Dubrovnik,
overnight accommodation or meals except refreshment
during the workshops.
Due to the size of the lab, number of participants is limited, so grab your seat while you can…
Scholarship – CLOSED
Our partner organization – Gen0 Industries are sponsoring 2 scholarships for 2 gifted unemployed young persons (<30 yo)
(Scholarship covers participation free, for those who receive it).
Applicants for scholarship, should apply before 22. June 2016. (midnight by CET)
Science Underground Academy committee (consisting of 3 artists and 3 scientists) will assess the applications and pick the most promising candidate.

Accommodation
For international participants who require accommodation, we recommend Booking.com or AirBnb for renting rooms or apartments.
For cheapest accommodation (around 15 eur/night), you can also check out many hostels in Dubrovnik at Hostels.com or HostelBookers.

Traveling to Dubrovnik
City of Dubrovnik is well connected worldwide.
You can reach Dubrovnik with airplane, bus, car or a ship.
We recommend: SkyScanner, eDreams and EasyJet for booking flights. (on EasyJet you can find some ridiculously cheap direct flights, if you book on time)
For getting to Dubrovnik by bus, we recommend GetByBus.
